It is sooo good to see Jets dominate teams way below them in the standings - as they should.

Scheif is OK? Great news. I had flashbacks of an Ehlers shot hitting Little in the ear.

This team just keeps on winning, tonight wasn't even a challenge. First place for another night.

Yup. But the quarters are a little tight. One loss and somebody probably leapfrogs us.
Just keep on winning Jets!

Crowd was a little light but it was a Tuesday night and more importantly it was CBJ 12 512. Black Hawks will have a much bigger crowd as people were expecting Bedard again. Team is playing lights out but the Jets are still a hard sell and sell outs unfortunately will be few and far between.

That is still 1000 plus more then they would have gotten for the same game had it been earlier in the year so progress.

Is the assumption that right when Sawyer said the word Hellebuyck got an itch in his neck and fell over? Superstitions are so strange to me.

If no one ever said the word shutout during a game we would never have developed this superstition. So just never say it.

That really is a shame.
Winnipeg businesses need to step up and buy all the tickets ... give them to your customers.
You have to spend money to make money.

Yes but does it matter if we are leapfrogged? Good teams can beat anyone in playoffs so why does it matter who we face? Would be better if face adversity now so coaches can work on what happens if things don’t always go their way.

True we should be getting better gate revenues, but if the Jets go 2-3 rounds into the playoffs,( think they will), they will more than make up for the lower attendance numbers for the regular season this year. In the playoffs as well, a lot of the prime expensive season tickets are presold, so they will do just fine for revenues. Would like to see some sellouts for regular games tho.

70% of the playoff gate goes to the league coffers now.

The thing about this year is we seem to be playing the full 60 minutes and are not taking shifts off.
If our special teams can improve we are going to be hard to beat as the games get more intense.
This roster has the next man up vibes from 17/18.
The games have cohesion and you feel like you know what you are going to get.
The last 4 years were borderline unwatchable.
The mood is so much better here as well.
I hope the naysayers don’t come back when we have a dip in the road.

A.I. (eh aye: noun) is but a sad raconteur of real life, distorting, melding... if you are looking for accuracy brother, you've come to the wrong shop.

I mean, I know its artificial ice, but it might get a wee bit of a chill on.

:)

There's a lot of growing up going on this year!
