Did we claim Zykov?

hahahahahaha.

There is zero good god damned reason not to pick up a depth forward the roster is familiar with when we're bringing up last place with injuries. You can create competition, get Wagner or Rempal to the AHL for more minutes, and see if there's NHL upside for the future.

f*** off, Blake, such an easy one to make

Mayor cites the 50 contracts being an issue, but the only issue I would see with that is the garbage on the bottom rung. We're only at 44/50.

Even if it is a free asset is a free asset. I feel like the Kings management are the Presidential staff in Idiocracy.

I think they should have claimed him. coming off a 33 goal AHL season. It seemed like the biggest issue was if he could score goals at a higher level and last season showed he could...and
then 3 goals, 4 asissts, 7 pts in 10 games last yr with Canes...that's better than every current King production!

I feel for those of you brave souls that voted yes, it must be like mom standing you up on prom night all over again. You knew you'd be let down, but still got dressed up all pretty anyway.

Blake is a idiot not taking a risk with Zykov.Kings right now are a dumpster fire from the VP of operations to the players.I actually kinda wish I could get a refund from my NHL package.

Ok, the universe I think I'm in, or the one I remember being in anyway, is the one where Lombardi traded Zykov, and the one where Zykov has 0 goals this year. Where am I right now? Did I hit a worm hole? Is this some Dark City type deal? What's going on?

What's the downside? No one can score and we're in last place.

Might as well take a swing at a free asset with a good attitude that the organization is familiar with that has upside and has at least shown a hint of that potential at the NHL level especially while we have waiver-exempt players and injuries in Hagelin and Lewis. He fails, oh well, waive him. He succeeds, great. There was literally zero risk, high reward. We weren't going to f*** up the next 30 days because of Zykov.

There should have been an app for this...
