Hard to say. On one hand, he's a young guy with offensive upside and familiar to the organization. On the other, he might not be a fit with the new focus on speed and a coach with a history of benching Russians.

Zykov and McKeown were my favorite prospects at the time. With that said I don't see us claiming him; someone will just not us.

I don't see the space. Both cap wise and roster wise. Does he replace Luff? Wagner? Lewis is gonna come back sometime December I'd imagine.

Yep. It would be silly not to try him at least as a free asset at this point especially with injuries.

Bring back Zykov. On his draft day tv interviews he was quite endearing - impish demeanor, smiling ear to ear, the honest spontaneous comments of a teenager. What a personality.
