Strong game but not being tasked with having to be as constantly acrobatic as last season. 5-0 the Huskies are up about 5 minutes into the third. NEU looks really strong.

In the games that I’ve seen him play, I think last night was his easiest shut out yet. The Huskies are going to be really good this year. It’s nice to see that he has support in front of him now. Might be a very very long season and that’s a good thing for them.

It just shows how asinine the voting is for the Hobey Baker. The fact that McKay didn't win the Richter for best goalie, but wins the equivalent for collegiate player of the year, and Levi didn't get a nomination, but was the best goalie. Insanity.

Levi was one of the 10 finalists and got crushed in fan voting.

Although, McKay only had 15 more votes that Levi from the fans.

One gets the feeling that nothing he does this year down there matters. He was, probably, the real MVP of that level last year. Nowhere to go but down. He repeats his performance, okay. He regresses, too bad. He can't really improve.

Maybe it's for the academics. Otherwise, you shouldn't stay at a level where you're the best player.

It's really just about training and getting games in at his age. As long as he has good coaches, it doesn't really matter where he plays. Unless he's a headcase or something.
