Chain pizza is pretty good imo.
It's not near as good as a true NJ/NY Italian ran pizza shop, but chain pizza isn't bad.
That is a testament to how good pizza is as a food unto itself, more than to any of the chains doing something that deserves praise.
Nancy’s Townhouse in Rahway is the best pizza.
Who knew Palat and Bahl were the problems? So, top recap the night so far...
- Lindy is great
- Goaltending is fixed
- PP is fixed
- PK is great
- Bahl never plays again
- Palat never plays again
Headline: Lafreniere, Rangers play against Stanley Cup Champions
Imagine wanting to fire a coach that has the team outshooting the opponent by 18 every game. wtf is this.
Imagine that has to due with getting him away from Larkin and getting a mismatch.Bratts got the lowest time on ice of any of the forward both total AND even strength. The guy is literally tied for second in the entire f'ing league and plays 2 mins less than Bastian and McLeod through 40 mins. Unreal.
what happened to jim?I must say it is more agreeable than the ongoing 5 year goalie debate thats been raging for what seems like forever...
Can get that on sale too for stupid cheap.Even Ellios pizza is good.
Someone gimme good pizza places in north Jersey please, preferably in Morris county
I think Dawson getting the 2nd goal of the game and Jack getting the go ahead in the first period was bigger than goaltending. Thanks you Vitek for keeping the goal mouth closed for most of the night while the guys gain the confidence you gave them to score 6 goals.
Congrats Vitek
Congrats Devils
Go Devils
What's wrong with being met with pizza and drinks?
Pizza is like sex, even when it's bad, it's still pretty good.Even Ellios pizza is good.
Best player on our team and one of the best in the league.Honestly, Marner is worth every nickel of his contract, and Bratt will be too.

The Devil's trailed for only 8 minutes of the first period and had the lead from the 15:16 mark of the 1st period to the end of the game.
That makes life easier for everyone.
Take the lead, control the game... everyone looks great in that scenario. It's how we have to win.
Devils ranks right now:
#1 in Shots for per game
#1 in Fewest shots allowed per game (by 4 per game)
#2 in 5 on 5 CF%
#1 in 5 on 5 xGF% (by 6%!!!)
#1 in 5 on 5 high danger CF% (by 6%!!!)
#32 in 5 on 5 SV%
#32 in 5 on 5 PDO
lmao
Nah...if you look at the historical data on Leading after 1 period and then Leading after 2 periods... It's eye popping.I got your point but without goaltending to stop the 22 shots against. I think it was a combination of both.
This is true, but in a game where your team is struggling to finish you need goalies to make a big save as well. In all three Devils losses, that has been the opposite. Sometimes you need your goalie to hold the fort so you can eek out a win or get to OT for the loser point. Blackwood did that in the San Jose game. The three losses on the other hand were utter goaltending meltdowns by Vanacek and Blackwood.I think Dawson getting the 2nd goal of the game and Jack getting the go ahead in the first period was bigger than goaltending.

But please can we start having some of these dominating wins (this and the Isles game) at home. It will do wonders for the fans.As bummed out as I was sitting through the Caps game the other night, I at least walked away from it with the slight silver lining of "the Caps didn't just truck them this time, the Devils just made some awful decisions, and that's something they can fix." This is as opposed to previous years where the Caps, usually a big, strong, fast team, would just motor through the Devils like they were nothing.
The fact they came out last night and didn't skip a beat *and* seemed to clean up a lot of their mistakes from the previous night, all during a back to back, is incredibly encouraging.
Meantime, I'd tell people to go to Joe's Pizzeria in Kearny (Hudson county) and get a regular slice and a white slice with meatballs, but they're either under new ownership recently or possibly closing, which would be a crime against humanity. That was the pizza place of my youth and still the best of nearly any regular pie joint I've been to in New Jersey.
