Have to say, I'm pleased that we're all excited for a highly-touted prospect to get a cup of coffee at the end of a winning season for once.

Rather than hoping that a good debut for the kid bodes well for next year, he could actually have an impact in the playoffs if things shake out that way.

I expect a top effort from Buffalo. They will play with confidence to start based on Levi and their last game against NJ. NJ will have to weather thr early storm. Hopefully thr Devils take thr early lead. It will help if thr out of town scoreboard hurts Buffalo over the course of the game. Jack will have to have a big night but you know he will be on cloud 9 having Luke out there and I’d expect him to have one of his best games to date. Somehow I also see Meier having one of those games where his scoring makes a difference. Fingers crossed. If Lazar plays I feel like that’s a potential boost if he’d rattle a few Sabres (oh I’m so clever) with hits along the boards that resonate and perk up the bench.

I wonder what last years sold for so I know approx. what I’ll need to be around for $$ .

I was watching the gender equality jersey bids, last month. In general expect to pay at least $700. I think Blackwoods went for like $400 and I think Jack's went for over $3,000. I imagine these could potentially be more pricey.

It's also tough cause the final bid has to remain for at least 5 minutes. So you can't bid snipe.

Now I’m not sure what to do . I cannot afford to bid on more than one , but I want to make sure I get one . I might have to pick a player that won’t be insanely priced but still want to get a decent player. I don‘t want to drop $500+ on a Clarke jersey…but also dont want to completely miss out on one of the jerseys.
Maybe pick a player I like where I am comfortable with price wise , amd maybe bid in a second ,lesser priced one. Like Mercer or less expensive than that like Marino …
I can see Luke selling for more than Jack , just because it’s Luke‘s first NHL game and he is the shiny new toy and is very likely a huge piece of the team for a long time .

That's kind of my recommendation. You can always take the name/letters off (not sure if there is anyting cool about them). it's a weird science for bidding. You think you have a backup, so you don't bid on someone early on.... and then you realize the backup may end up going higher.

Oh also - the bidding is over in a week. So you don't really have to do anything now. It won't matter till really about 30 minutes prior to the auction going off.
