Their D has been awful. Like traffic comes level. Its not all the goaltending for them.

Yeah, I don't understand why we can't just enjoy a young player that's playing well without fantasizing about the day we can kick him off the line? It's not just his shot (which is probably as good as Holtz's and among the best I've ever seen on a Devils player), he also skates like the wind and creates offense himself. He's an absolutely tremendous hockey player, and when he played with Zajac and Kuokkanen that was our best line.

I knew when I posted about Shara and Holtz it would turn into this. It has nothing negative to do with him whatsoever . Just that he is playing so good that having 2 excellent lines would be sexy. Hughes with Holtz and Nico with Shara... call the Nico line the first line then and Hughes Holtz the second.. all I was trying to say is that Hughes has done good with a very good Shara , and how would it look like with a player that is touted and known for his goal scoring ability ...

It was lower than that for a while, might have even cracked .850 at one point. They had to shut him down completely for a few games and then bring him back slowly.

I have a tough time seeing a viable re-tool in their case but I haven't paid attention to their pool the past few years since a lot of their guys graduated. There are a handful of teams in a weird no man's land and they're one of them, Calgary, Nashville and Minnesota being the others to me. I think all four should blow up 3/4 of the team.

Even with NYR's rise, I just don't see which of these young teams is better than TB, TOR, CAR and possibly FLA going forward the next 2-3 seasons, let alone BOS, WAS or PIT. The West feels much more open with COL and VGK as the only two truly impressive groups.

I love Sharangovich, his shot is no where close to Holtz's and that is by no means a knock to him. Shot's like Holtz's come around once every few years. This man got went top 10 purely because of his shot.

Hischier line is playing great, Zacha playing the best hockey of his life, why would you want to change any of it? Teams have 3 scoring lines anyway these days.
