Hughes point total would be way higher if Palms was doing this from the start of the season.

I firmly believe that winning these games is more valuable for this team than the impact it has on our draft position. We've been drafting high forever. At some point you need to start winning.

We need to win games that matter. We are out of the race. These games do not matter expect for players getting try outs for next season basically

I'm not entirely convinced Sharangovich is going to be the guy to stick with hughes in the future, yet. I feel like Holtz has way higher potential.

I can’t wait for Holtz ether but the dude needs more time. If he starts to light it up again, maybe but Covid seemed to push his development back. Plus, there is no need to rush him thanks to Goalvich!

I love Shara ‘s game and am very excited he is looking good.
However , I would prefer to have Holtz on Hughes wing to see how an elite sniper does with Hughes as his C.
By no means is this anything negative at all against Shara. It would just be awesome to have scoring depth and Hughes / Holtz would be dangerous and have Shara with Nico . Where does Bratt go then though?

Sharangovich was the best Devil in camp. He's been one of the best devils outside a growing pains stretch 10 games into the season. Sharangovich with Zajac and Kuokkanen was the best devils line before Zajac and Palmieri got traded. Maybe this guy is actually great at hockey and belongs on the 1st line? He's earned that shot and some slack next season.

I see no reason you can't keep Bratt with Nico or move him back with Jack. The only reason to drop him down is if you need Bratt to help make Zacha good and they can play together on the 3rd line

We should have learned by now the standings have next to nothing to do with the lottery, it's all weighted luck. Everyone lost their **** when John Moore beat the Flyers with an OT goal a few seasons back, and it turned out knocking us down two spots in the lotto actually got us Nico.

Ah, the old mystery box over the NHLer argument. Let's not call Holtz an "elite sniper" until he demonstrates that it translates to the NHL, and let's not discount the guy actually scoring at a good rate in the NHL.
