Sometimes I hear Doc's excited "lookie here!" in my head when a player is in alone on a breakaway.

An underrated, goofy Zubrus moment that I adored was this fluky goal in the 2011 run where he looked like he was cackling like a madman.

I wish I could find a better quality version of it.

I always end up defending her when this comes up, but she's a friend of mine, and is a hilarious human being. She thought Zubrus was hot, and that was born. It always cracked me up.

About as easy as its going to get these next 6 games. If they can go 4-1-1 (9 points minimum or better) THEN they will have drawn me back in and make me a believer.

They cannot lose to ARI, PIT or OTT, that should be 6 guranteed points.

Honestly my hope is more for the Metro 3 Spot..

The Flyers next 6 games are - Bruins, Leafs, Canes, Bruins, Panthers, NYR

Meaning we only need to leapfrog NYI who we have 2 Games against including the finale at home.

I'm happy to know someone who knows her! She is a legend in my family's stories from going to games from 2010-2013 when they had a partial plan. They always got a kick out of that jersey when they saw it.

The Caps exist. They have 1 more point than us, while having a game in hand, so we have to jump over them too.

The Caps aren’t setting the world on fire either, and we currently win the regulation win tie-breaker, but we got to pass them too.

This is where SOS starts to matter. The good news is the Caps have it tough, the bad news is the Isles don’t.



If we don’t have our first win streak since Dec it’s all pretty hypothetical.

This team needs a Zubrus in the worst way. A Parise too for that matter, I feel like we’re allergic to greasy goals. Hopefully Mercer develops that part of his game more than he’s shown this year.
