Please let me know if anyone wants to play Warzone and be invited to my Discord server either this afternoon or tonight because work is slow and I am spending WAY too much time realizing that Timo Meier is currently in Tulum Mexico and so is Nico, Siegs, Tatar, and Haula via their wife/girlfriends IG stories.
Are they really in Tulum? I was just there in December. The fishing just south of there in Ascension Bay is spectacular.

Timo is there as per his IG story.... Tatar's wife is there as per her IG story. Haula and Siegs WAGS were there too 24 hours ago... and someone told me they know Nico is there but I can't find anything about that.

Timo is probably tight with Nico and Siegs because they're all fellow countrymen that probably go back a ways with Swiss hockey activities.

They may even hang out and maybe even train in the offseason together, assuming they're all back home in the summer.

But I think the fact that Timo has more friends here than maybe on one of the other candidates may make it favorable that he would commit here long term.

It definitely bodes well for an extension considering his friends are signed here long term and the team has a VERY bright near future and distant future.

But I guess it's all about what the Sharks are trying to get back in a trade since he doesn't have a no-trade.

I thought Siegs spends his summers in Thailand... I guess only part of it.

''See this right here? Yes? This one of many reasons shot hit Vitek but shot turn into goal on the Blackwood, cause his just not good on this kind play like the Vitek is''.
Don't you mean "THE Vitek"?

I can't see him wanting to stay in San Jose under any circumstances.

Hertl made that GRAVE mistake last year.

Karlsson also made that mistake in 2019 IMO. I think the Sharks acquiring him via trade was fine, but after not being able to get the cup that year, they should have let him walk. That team blew their final load in 2018-2019.

But it also cost them Josh Norris and the pick that turned out to be Tim Stutzle.

And now Karlsson gets to be on a perennial loser/tanker the rest of his career. That team has at least as much work to do as we did when Lou was out. That would put Karlsson around 40 years old by the time they're good again and late 30's for Hertl.

I have no idea how these guys operate anymore... I would think Kuzmenko would want out of Vancouver... and I would think Van would realize Kuz's trade value will never be higher and they would capitalize... but he chose to stay there.

One thing I'm worried about... if the Sharks manage to offload Karlsson somehow, wouldn't they want to try to keep Meier?

I mean... Off your tip I checked tatars wife's IG story and it tags Nina Hischier.. I doubt Nico's sister would travel by herself

And for the record I'm not creepy, you are for indirectly making me search and confirm :sarcasm:

If the Sharks unload Karlsson (I doubt it) I imagine that'd make Meier want to stay less. The issue with Meier staying isn't they can't afford to keep him. It's that they suck and are rebuilding.

They were at MSG a couple of days later and I went to that show too. They were making kids take anything with spikes on them off and leave them on a table. Like studded jackets, belts, braclets and rings... couldn't go in with any spikes.

I remember the anti-leather spikes thing. Heavy Metal is so dangerous.

My brother was much more into metal (and a guitar player) but I did get taken to Judas Priest Screaming for Vengeance in 1982 at Meadowlands. Really took to Priest at a young age lol.

They’re all def in the same city, but together? No clue. Watch timo say he’ll only extend in NJ like Fiala did with LA.

The tourist part of Tulum is a 1-ish mile stretch of beach road, maybe two ...if they're all there, they're there together in the same place.
