Just moved to North Caldwell and really like the pizza options out in this area. Angelonis with the super thin pie, Tony D's big thing is the thin crust square pies, recently had the grandma pie from Forte and it was f***en fantastic.

I get to Chicago a few times a month and the Italian beef sandwich is delicious. You can actually have Portillo's shipped and Lou Malnati's pizza as well. Believe it or not the packages are nearly as good as getting them in Chicago.

You ever try the chicken fried steak sandwich at Ricobenes? Lived in Chicago for 11-12 years.

I have not but I will add it to the list. I gain about 10 pounds when I go to Chicago especially after the meatloaf at Ditka's.

This is like showing someone a celebrity whos hot but you chose the worst picture

Its not as good as other pizza around Jersey and NY, obviously, but geez you did New Haven pizza dirty with this one
That's how they served it....and it was never in a box and brought straight to the table.

I'm not trying to be a hater, I was honestly very underwhelmed by both Sally's and Pepe's.

I'm not saying it was bad, was just kinda of whatever... certainly didn't understand the hype. I can typically appreciate things even if they aren't my style or taste. Like stouts. Not really a fan but I can appreciate a good stout for what it is.

Your Mercer obsession is interesting. I get he's wholesome and he's a fisherman. But frankly he has something to prove after last season where he was pretty mediocre if not quite bad for long stretches.

Opposing scouts already are chomping at the bit as to how they'll fleece the Devils for Dawson.

And sadly @JimEIV is right.

Certain Devils are entitled to huge contracts regardless of their production.

While others are forced to do the heavy lifting.

Luke Hughes as a rookie DMan had more points than Dawson Mercer had in 2 of his 3 NHL seasons

Anybody heard anything as to the rookie roster as rookie camp opens on Wednesday? Maybe I'm too far ahead of the game, huh?

Was just wondering the same thing. Tournament is three days away. You'd think they'd be on the ice tomorrow or Thursday and that the Devils would have announced a roster by now.

Think he had a bit more time on the power play than Mercer did during that time, too.

Yet rarely saw his ice time diminished for glaring defensive lapses. Unlike pretty much every other player, including Mercer.

Meh...I keep hearing over and over "nobody in Italy..." Does that, says that, eats that...A 1/4 of their damn population left and end up right here.

Yeah nobody in Italy does that because they all left and ended up in New Jersey and New York.

I mean, no. That’s not it.

Yeah because even with those “glaring defensive lapses” he was still comfortably our most effective defenseman without Dougie.

Benching your most effective player because the thing that makes him successful occasionally leads to an embarrassing odd man chance against is counterproductive

Daneyko and Spaulding also following Herzog, so she seems to be the new Erika.

Definitely a bit green, but was working towards this type of position - though that was the case when Erika started in this role as well. Herzog also played at the NCAA level.

Wonder if this was a cost-cutting move for MSG?
So we have a brunette this time. I like variety. :sarcasm:

Green or not, I'm sure she'll do great.....just so long as she doesn't ask the players how they're feeling about the feelings of the game's feelings that are tantamount to feelings of existence.

Fortunately, since she had already played at the NCAA level, she'll have a bit more knowledge of the game so we may hear REAL questions for a change.....

A sampling of her work. Seems solid. Granted it's her highlights.

Playing college hockey helps too.

When I was in my 20"s there was a box of Ellios in my freezer at all times.... I use to doctor it though, add more sauce and cheese, garlic powder and pepper flakes...

Sometimes I would take two squares put chicken in between and make a Ellios chicken Parm-ish sandwich...but I had to be really high to do that.
I still buy frozen pizza's. Typically wait for Newman's to go on sale and then buy a few. And then definitely enhance it with more sauce, cheese, pepper flakes, perhaps sautee up some veggie's, etc. Do the same with leftover pizza from a pizzeria, any other kind of leftovers, or just about anything that comes out of the fridge.

Tony D's is really really good! Angeloni's thin pie is excellent, but I still prefer the OG Star Tavern in Orange near the Montclair border. Give that a go - they're one of the legendary pizzerias. There's actually a Jersey Pizza Joints facebook group. (and Jersey Sandwich Joints and other food groups where Jersey people discuss good food)

Wow, she played 4 years at St. Cloud State on D - so that's really cool. About to turn 27, so she's had a number of years in North Dakota doing sports reporting. If true this will be her first major gig, but she has the background. She's very attractive too, important to balance Dano (haha)
