I'm cool with this. He had moments of being a decent fill-in option. Hopefully we don't see him as much this year, and I mean that as politely as I can.

I don't like when guys that should be AHLers but spent a lot of time in the NHL come back because then they're more likely to spend more time in the NHL. Willman should be 15th on the depth chart at best.

I can't think of anyone realistic right now that'd fit a need given the cap and all. Not sure I'd do Saros anymore.

Absolutely not for Markstrom. And to be honest, there might not be any realistic goalies I would trade it for. But I WOULD trade it for the best 26 or younger goal scoring winger or top 4 LHD we can get.

Don't think we have big enough holes that are worth a top 10 pick. Maybe if it's a trade for multiple significant pieces but for 1 player? Not sure.

I would trade the pick for Swayman. That’s about the only goalie I’d do it for.

Well, yeah, if there's a player that fits this core better then you do it. Chances are you're not going to find that this year imo or you have to give a massive contract or play Russian roulette to said player a la DeBrincat when he went to Ottawa.

Coaching hire is bigger than anything we could bring in to the skater group imo, goalie obviously needs to be addressed and I think we can do that without the 10th overall pick being dangled.
