Not really a fit in Berube's system, really a head scratcher how Armstrong built their defensive core to begin with. A lot of their Cup team's defensemen were smooth skating defensive dmen who didn't handle the puck like a grenade. Now they're all offense minded guys willing to push the pace at every cost. Them and the Islanders have the worst futures imo in the league. I do like Snuggerud though and maybe Jake Neighbors becomes something but other than that, yikes.

What is this based on? Every St. Louis fan I see on here and on reddit absolutely despises Binner. They love him for the Cup he stole them, but hate him now that he's a certified nutcase.

Really? On the main board if you trash him some their fans get defensive and say he’s not bad, but it’s their defense and systems fault.

I wouldn’t say he stole them a cup. He was painfully average during the playoff run.

Binnington is one of my most hated players in the entire NHL. Nothing to do with his goaltending though, but if he were actually good, he may be a little less hatable.

Instead, he’s about as hatable as Patrick Roy, yet he’s absolutely mediocre at playing the position.

I firmly believe Blackwood is truly the worst full time goalie in the NHL though. I probably won’t hate him after he’s off our team for good.

Worse goalies than Blackwood play in the NHL every year, but they’re third string call ups from the AHL. And then there’s guys like Quick who are just ancient and worse than Blackwood, but there’s a decent chance he won’t play in the league this year, but some idiot will sign him because of who he used to be.

Same goes for Brian Elliott, but there’s a lesser chance he plays this year than Quick, if I had to guess.
