i had seen a post that nico wasn't gonna be attending training camp bc of a minor leg injury he got during offseason......

........but he's hiking a glacier in here and walking fine?
Where did you see that? Didn’t see that on Twitter or on here unless I’m mistaken.

edit: @glenwo2 explained hahaha

Dude....you were reading a post that was NECRO-RETWEETED by that BrattPack idiot. (if you look at the date, it was in 2020)

Please stop posting Tweets unless they're some sort of news.

I really can't care about the Bratt Pack or any other randos on Twitter, and I spend way too much time on Twitter as it is.
Based on the last few days I toyed with the idea of creating a “Bratt Pack Tweet” account here that would just post his tweets.

I loved the idea as a troll but thought it may actually be too annoying, even just once or twice.

Really enjoyed the Fitz interview with Chiclets. Good stuff. The admission of guilt taking blame for leaving Holtz up for too long when he wasn’t getting playing time was interesting to hear.

Based on how things are shaping up, Holtz is going to get a legitimate opportunity to snag a top 9 role. And I’m thinking the Toffoli trade will be integral for Alex. The goal is for Alex to become a player that is able to do a lot of the things Tyler can do. That means thinking the game at a high level and getting his nose dirty from time to time. I think and hope Alex will learn a lot from him this season.

That was great, exact opposite of Lou with how open he is about literally everything.

I think Saros because he made the joke later after when talking about them wanting the 7th. But who knows.
I got the same exact feeling what they might have discussed when he said that he discussed with Poile about a player he wanted in the trade deadline...

What goes to him praising Luke... just watched the video where players were asked their favorite moment this year. While his playoff performance was incredible, I have not been high on Luke until now, when he stated that his favorite moment was winning the game 7 vs. Rangers even when he wasn't even playing. That just felt like the sign of a truly great player.

But I stand by my point. Especially with Nosek in the mix,(moreso if Mcleod stays in the mix) and if Haula is the 3rd line center. That has potential for a really good defensive bottom 6.

We (or at least some have) talked about Nico’s relative ineffectiveness on the pp. Ease his d responsibilities a bit and let him focus on his PP game.
Palat - Haula - X
Nosek - Mcleod - Bastian

Should be a bottom-six that can handle a lot of defensive responsibility, and lift some of the burden off Nico. Ideally they subsidize the top-six to have majority OZ shifts.

The only issue is the deployment of Holtz. If he falls on that 3rd line spot, it can't really be used as a defensively oriented line.

Nice observation on Toffoli.

This is a bizarre firing, he didn’t make the graphic and Orioles fans knew they sucked.

I remember people complaining our on air talent wasn’t negative enough when we were bad, people do seem to think they can say whatever they want.

Again, this is wild if true. Our on-air talent did say how shitty our record has been.

And then the painful loss tonight. The curse of Angelos calls will be swirling. Being a Devils fan is a lot like being an Orioles fan minus Angelos. Be grateful we have who we have with the Devils.

The pain tonight is similar to our Preds loss at home. And the pain that will likely happen in October w the Os is the pain that was our playoff series loss. Young teams building on the wave of masterfully crafted rebuilds. Somehow I am need to be grateful for the pain.

It could be worse, you could be an Angels fan. (Whomp Whomp)

I realize Orioles fans can make a solid argument about suffering longer, since the Angels won a WS in 2002 and had some good years in the ‘00s, when the AL West was a 4 team cake walk.

But this is Mike Trout’s 13th season and he’s been in the playoffs once. That dumb ass poverty franchise is about to piss away a FOURTH MVP performance.

Trout was the MVP the one year they made it, and got swept by the Royals in 2014, so he’ll always have that. Ohtani can make a break for it and save himself this off-season.

This is off-topic but we don’t even have discuss this travesty. It makes me realize how awful the non-playoff years with McDavid were.

Someone needs to take this team behind a barn and shoot it in the head. I can’t believe Art Moreno almost did the right thing, and was going to sell the team last off-season, and instead stayed and was (still, again, always) an incompetent idiot.

While the hockey specialist are praising Devils top 6, I am very high on the bottom six. While the top lines might provide some explosive offense, I feel like these bottom lines would be the ones that create the real difference of mismatch. I base this their crazy goals% I bring up in every one of my posts:

Without seeing Nosek play with McleodBastian, I would still be ready to throw them vs. the best line of opponent. This could be one of those cases where something seems too good to be true, it's not true. Same is with Palat-Haula. When thrown together in the playoffs they were instantly on the same page, but might be lacking the it factor during the regular season without younger and faster player. Holtz is young, but does he have the legs to drive the offense with that line? If not, could that line still work?

McLeod’s line typically has not played alot vs opposition top lines. There was a stretch a couple years ago I think. But it didn’t go well

He’s a couple years older now though(as is Bastian) and replace Wood with Nosek and maybe.
