He'd definitely be an upgrade over Blackwood, unless this is the year where he drops even more than he has been over the last 4 years.

And he wouldn't be the worst goalie in the division *Cough* Jonathan Quick *Cough*, but we also don't have an Igor Shesterkin here either.

I'm honestly comfortable with Vanecek/Schmid, especially since I'm pretty sure Gibson would probably still get $2.5 million or maybe even more on a post-buyout contract.

I doubt he could recreate a Zion Williamson situation. Maybe he gets a girl pregnant accidentally but with his family it would not likely go as poorly as Williamson’s relationships and resulting publicity.

Hes a 22 superstar who is insanely rich for his age. He is out drinking with friends like most young adults do.

There is NOTHING to worry about. Not to mention a ton of other young stars were there. I bet you security is very well aware of them being there and not letting people get to close.

same. i think we’re set, and i’m confident in every position except net.

i feel like fitz spent a lot of money, but he really didn’t when you look at the locked up core against a likely rising cap. he had an outstanding offseason, our biggest losses were severson and brunette.

At least our superstar doesn't come off as dull and boring as Sidney Crosby does. That guy is good at flying under the radar. I don't even know if he has a family of his own. Used to joke that he's still a virgin. Be a funny sign to have down by the glass in warm-ups. Some fan in Philly probably has done that lol.

Wasn’t there a Jets defensive back who had six kids with seven different women? Antonio Cromartie? He must be a masochist. I could barely deal with three kids. They all gang up against you once they are out of diapers.

I don't disagree with that sentiment necessarily. It is a business, and the player has rights for sure.

It's the extremely public, demanding nature of it that gives me some pause.
