Siegs is not good, him being pushed down by hanifin is better for the team. Bahl not being here is better as well. He’s literally a net negative due to how bad he is offensively.

It does not make any sense to have a 3rd pairing D signed for 4 more years. The 3rd pairing should be for veteran stopgaps and young players trying to break into the league. If the intent is to move Siegenthaler down to the 3rd pair, it should instead be to move him out.

I think Siegenthaler is going to look a lot better once he gets his skates under him in this new system. He excels at breaking up plays at the blueline and the previous system just didn't have much of that in it.

it absolutely serves a purpose lol it reduces glare from the stadium lights.

The whites are a lot nicer....it's the boarder around the logo. The reds without a boarder look cartoonish.

I remember that happening multiple times at football games back in the day. For some reason a Saturday Jets game back in like 95 sticks out.

It was a huge story, not just in the local news, but on ESPN. I remember tuning in for NHL2night (the Barry Melrose hosted one from the 90s) and sports center coming on either before or after it and it was like the biggest story of the night.

I swear one or two of these happened when I was a kid.

Well, I was a kid in 95, but I mean like a much younger kid.

Yeah it definitely happened a couple of times. I remember they used camera shots to find an arrest people.

Edit: I remember it being ice at Giant stadium though....I think it was a playoff game against the 49ers? I think?

People were hurt if I remember correctly. Fans started throwing big chunks of ice.... I want snow not ice

I wouldn’t give up Nemec alone for Markstrom and Hanifin at the moment. The contract value and possible raw value that Nemec will bring over the next 5 years is likely better than the other 2 combined.

It’s just incredible, we went through this BS last year with the Meier speculation. People just never learn, there’s a word for that.

It's way better. Markstrom/Hanifin/CGY 2024 1st isn't worth Nemec. I don't go on the main board but the amount of delusion vis a vis trades that have been previously made is quite funny.

I wouldn't give up Nemec for any 2 players in the Flames organization. Let alone a 34 year old goalie and a pending UFA Dman.

I think the very first guy mentioned Nemec as a joke (Seanmoneyhands or whatever...not sure he's a flames fan) and Cryptoclown is what he is. I don't think that any of the actual Flames expect Nemec back from what I have read.

For those interested, Dimitri had Kevin Woodley on the PDOcast and they talked Markstrom and his fit with the devils. Woodley does a ton of data tracking and whatnot for defenses and goalies. He really likes the fit for the devils and he even says at one point that because of the contract for Saros and the cost to acquire him, he's rather have Markstrom than Saros for the devils.
