So what you're saying is we're going to have a 39.8% season PP since the Oilers season PP was 94% as good as their first 8 games.

Their best 8 game stretch I could find all year was 14/31 (excluding playoffs where they were 14/25 their first 8 games). That's 45.2%. If Holtz goal against the Habs was a second earlier than we'd be 15/33 for 45.5% and our first 8 would be a better stretch than their best 8

@guitarguyvic is more accurate then we are giving him credit for?

I don’t know what they uniquely know about these wins being stressful.

We’ve all experienced these nail biters/ugly wins together.

Before tonight we had one romp against the Habs and four 1 goal wins, and all five were comeback wins.

Tonight is the first time we got the lead and kept it all game and it was 3-2 in the 3rd.

Jack and Bratt have definitely gotten better, but I think Toffoli and Luke have the most to do with the PP being way better.

Luke can’t shoot it like Dougie but he’s much more mobile and is great at manipulating the lanes. Toffoli is great in small space and has that right handed stick he can use to feed the slot on one touch passes.

Couple those elements with two of the best distributors in the game with Jack and Bratt and you have the magic we’ve witnessed so far.

Toffoli brings this at even strength too. One thing I love about him is his shoot first mentality.

Many of our other forwards will look for a pass or dangle. Not him. On net every chance he gets. Excellent.

The pace of puck movement and improvisation are markedly better. The PP is lethal. To be anywhere near 50 percent? And Luke has been getting shots through but just missing.

Luke must have a pretty heavy shot already for a rookie. A couple of his slap shots have led to juicy rebounds given up by opposition goalies.
