This is a great idea . I love it. We can send bratt to bite Tage’s anklesHonestly the way to take care of these issues is NOT to go after Clifton, but the valuable players that team wouldn't want to lose. Just spend a whole game with cheap shots to Tage Thompson, That will send a message to teams, cheap shot our star players, we are going to take your star players out.
That guy creeps me out.Awesome stuff!
“Yeah! It’s Timo Time baby! WOO!”
There is absolutely 0 reason Mercer should be getting the minutes he is right now. You don't try to get players going by moving them up in the lineup. Ruff sat Marino for playing far less badly than Mercer and Meier for playing roughly as bad. Why are we holding Mercer to a completely different standard than these players right now? He needs to see the press box for a game to get it through to him to get his head out of his ass.
Such a team player deciding to suck as much shit as possible in his contract year
It is a little odd for that list to use contributions per games played when per minute is a more meaningful number.Fun fact, on a per minute basis Holtz is matching Toffoli in shot contributions. PROMOTE HIM

Both numbers provide some value but if I wanted to show a player wasn’t getting it done then per minute is more fair to use. Obviously doesn’t help Mercer though.

Am I the only one who thinks Mercer struggling this season in terms of production is a good thing?
It can allow you to lock him in for 7/8 years at a ~$5.5-6.25 million cap hit instead of around $7 million cap hit.
Little harder for a minimally talented defenseman to pull that off, unless he lays out Trouba I suppose
Quit playing like scrubs. Keep winning games.
That’s not surprising at all, but the visual with so much red is still pretty shocking lol
It's concerning that he might not be the impact player we're all hoping for. I don't think this is a "Jack Hughes hurting his shoulder was actually good" scenario so much, as Hughes was for sure who the team was going to build around. Mercer's underlying metrics have always been worse than his production (IIRC correct me if I'm wrong) so it's more of a question as to what to do with him.Am I the only one who thinks Mercer struggling this season in terms of production is a good thing?

I might be incorrect in my recollection (someone tell me if I am) but well it worked for the Rags several seasons ago as it got them to the ECF at least.Have we become the PP merchants?
