That would be my guess too. I assume he’s back in a week to 10 daysso would that mean Palat is close to being activated?
It wouldn’t surprise me if he stays with the team after clearing. This resets the flexibility clock.
We have so many defenseman its wild..
Siegenthaler, Hamilton, Marino, Bahl, Ohkotyuk, Hughes, Nemec, Mukhamadullin, Casey, Vilen, McCarthy, Edwards, Rielly
Honestly looks like one of my NHL20 sims
Nick Leddy plays for the St. Louis Blues....
Probably not that they've sailed but that they're not really talked about much. You forgot Leddy. Does that mean the Misyul and Zaitsev ships have sailed?
I don't think Palat is that type of guy, you're probably right if it were Hughes though.I'm hoping that getting Palat back will be a boost for the forwards, both in terms of extra scoring and the veteran presence to make them more resilient as a group.
Sometimes when a big player comes back, though, everyone else slacks a little because they expect the returning star to carry them again. I'm hoping that won't happen here with Palat. And it probably won't, Palat is not a core guy who was carrying the team before he went out. But it is a risk.
I think it would be a more pronounced effect if it was somebody like Hughes or Hischier coming back after a long injury.
My bad, was going off of memory. And wasnt Zaitsev traded to the Rangers for Grabner years back? You forgot Leddy. Does that mean the Misyul and Zaitsev ships have sailed?
That was Rykov. My bad, was going off of memory. And wasnt Zaitsev traded to the Rangers for Grabner years back?
I think it's always tricky when you look at KHL guys. They have a very good professional league at home that pays real salaries compared to a developmental AHL gig. If a guy can walk into an NHL role I'm sure they'd listen but even next year with Graves leaving both of those guys would be tryout candidates rather than sure things. I also recall @Guadana suggesting that Misyul may not have the puck moving skills for the North American game right now. He's young enough that he can still develop as is Zaitsev. You forgot Leddy. Does that mean the Misyul and Zaitsev ships have sailed?

That’s disgusting. I would hope one or two of the “extras” can fetch an actual goal scorer. Someone like Casey or Mukh could definitely entice some teams. We have so many defenseman its wild..

Mukhamadullin I'm fine moving, would not move Casey at all unless it's a blockbuster. That’s disgusting. I would hope one or two of the “extras” can fetch an actual goal scorer. Someone like Casey or Mukh could definitely entice some teams.
I wish . He will pass waivers easily. But he is ok as a piece of depth. He is 100% gone after this season though .Oh my! It maybe the end of the Mango era.....
I think we may have something special with Casey . As in a Spurgeon type player . It’s hard to know who to use as a trade piece. Shakir may turn out better than Bahl amd Okhotiuk or maybe Vilen ends up being a stud ? I’d rather wait and see what we have in them before trading but we might have that luxury if a deal pops up soon . (Meier )Mukhamadullin I'm fine moving, would not move Casey at all unless it's a blockbuster.

Possible. But not many veterans have been getting claimed when sent down. And I'd imagine Johnsson's salary discourages most teams.

Yup. If he was a million less.
Also, most importanrly, we must move him as Dano will never be able to mange pronounciation for the forseeable future.
I do wonder if Johnsson makes it through waivers.
Seems like an ideal cap player for a bottom team that is looking to sell at the deadline. 800k salary with a 3.4 million cap hit?
