Secondary market prices for tomorrow are CRAZY. Just about $200 plus fees for a ticket in the lower level. I guess people like PAIN.
I should take advantage and just sell mine off but I missed the game last week cause of the forecast, and have missed more than usual for various reasons. Not to mention the NYD game conflicts with a meaningful Jets January game, so I’m not likely going to that either

They outplayed Philadelphia twice too and lost.
Then the Philth outplayed us and we won. Cuz hockey be like that.

Making money from your Devils season tickets is a rarity and always has been besides Rags games or 3rd and 4th rounds of the playoffs. Take full advantage if it!

Oh wow, didn't realize this game was at the Prudential Center again. I thought it was a home and home.

A true home and home.
Wait...I thought the game was going to be on the road in Boston?

It's going to be at home?

*checks NHL.com schedule* HOLY CRAP! I could've sworn this game would be on the road.

I mean it would've made sense since we had our Home game and then they'll have theirs.

this is a golden opportunity to do a do-over of the last game and win this one.

Ya, it's some weird scheduling. Our game against them in Boston isn't until way later, in March or April I believe.

Our home record actually sucks for a team in our position. Almost all of our regulation losses have come at home.

I remember our home record also sucking back in 20-21 and maybe even last year too? Maybe it turned around by season’s end in 20-21, but I remember it was pretty hilariously bad for most of that year.

7-18-3 in 20-21. It was 16-20-5 last year, so not nearly as bad as I’m remembering. But yeah, the 20-21 home record was hilariously bad.

At least there weren’t paying customers for a decent amount of those games and a very reduced capacity for the rest.

Yeah I got full season tickets for the following season (big mistake) in part just to get access to those akward reduced capacity games and aftrerall never went and our extreme suckage was a big factor. My take has been always been. If my team wins at least half of it's home games despite it's place in the standings then it's worth going to see them play.

Non contact for Palat or ? I’d think so unless he has practiced on his own for enough to be able to skate in a normal practice now without a non-contact jersey

So I ran it through editing software and the phrase "meaningful Jets January game" is only acceptable if it is a "meaningful Winnipeg Jets January game". Any other usage is incorrect and considered a sign of a masochist mental illness requiring years of therapy and psychoactive drug treatment.

I’ll be there tomorrow and am amped. Would love to see a W to shove it in my in-laws faces
I'll be fasting today because I have restaurant ledge seats for tomorrow evening.

Im not sure what's on the menu these days as I haven't sat there in over a decade, but my metabolism is stupid so I plan on having at least one of everything.

I don’t think this is an indication of anything goaltending wise. There usually isn’t any indication of anything until the day of a game whether there is a morning skate or something like that. Ruff never shows his hand on goalies the day before a game.

For those curious why some of us are no nervous about all the losing this month.

December swoons have been a thing for this team a lot in recent history.

Hopefully for this team It's just a bump in the road and January is back to normal

He keeps it pretty vague because December isn’t actually that always bad for the team.

Yes, there was a significant drop-off last season related directly to the Goalie Armageddon.

Cory didn’t break until 12/30 in 2017-18 so the swoon was in January as he didn’t win a single regular season game in 2018.

2016-17: 82 GP 28-40-14 (.427, 70 pts)
Oct: 8 GP 4-2-2 (.625%, 10 pts)
Nov: 14 GP 6-5-3 (.539%, 15 pts)

Mar: 15 GP 2-11-2 (.200%, 6 pts)
Apr: 5 GP 1-4-0 (.200%, 2 pts)

I threw on 2016-17 because a December swoon did happen there but two players on this team were on that season’s team too.

Only 6 first 12 Wins that season were in regulation, 4 were OT and 2 were SO. So the team was likely worse than the record suggests.

Also Hall went out with knee surgery, missing 8 games from 11/15-11/29. We were on a 5 game win streak until Hall went out and then we went 2-4-2 with him out. He went on a 4 game tear when he came back then and then had a 5 game pointless streak. (That might be related to how ridiculously fast he came back from knee surgery.)

And Cory had a very bad December.
