My assumption is the coach asked for this because the players try to free style higher at times but generally play way too low.

None of the wingers want to stand in the slot covering nothing with no chance to go the other way on the odd man rush.

Devils had success with the forwards being up high early but it got tight and I’m sure the coaches reminded them not to make mistakes.

Devils didn’t lose this game because they didn’t play hard, if you’re saying that it’s only because you think that’s the reason teams win or lose.

The Devils lost today becaude they were, I’m assuming, told to tighten up defensively in the third period. Whenever the Devils try to tighten up their defense it kills them, their defense and offense gets worse.

It's a players' coach mentality where guys who need to be sat down and told to frigging get it together aren't held accountable.

The Bahl turnover goal was gross on many levels bc they both floated back. The Meier turnover goal was gross bc it's been stupid negligence with the puck all season long. Marino was gross on two of them.

Our forwards are not disciplined, can't win puck battles and are somehow gassed despite being 20 year old kids.
