Devils didn’t lose this game because they didn’t play hard, if you’re saying that it’s only because you think that’s the reason teams win or lose.

The Devils lost today becaude they were, I’m assuming, told to tighten up defensively in the third period. Whenever the Devils try to tighten up their defense it kills them, their defense and offense gets worse.

It really isn’t crazy. The defense and puck management is horrid the vast majority of the time, you cannot expect a team in the nhl to string multiple wins together playing like this.

Every once in a while, he tries it and lo and behold it works. But he can't be doing that all the time, otherwise teams will figure it out. Oh. Wait. Nevermind.
