JUST STOP THE GOALIE DEBATE crap right now. I don't want to read this same old junk for the next 6 hours. Move on.
I wasn't involved in the debate, but no.

Just no.

Vanecek not starting is piss.

You'll see, when the whole board is in an uproar that McJesus scored 3 times.

I'm freezing to death having a dart in Fredericton New Brunswick.

Must be nice
Currently 79 here in Florida. Has been 85 and about as humid as any summer day the last few days. 85 isn't exactly unseasonably hot for this time of year, but it has certainly been unseasonably humid. Seriously hasn't been this humid since September, up until the last 3 days.

And the snowbirds are starting to come in droves, including from Canada. Though I haven't seen many Canadian plates, but I know there's a decent percentage of Canadian snowbirds.

pay no mind.....

ive been to edmonton its a right f***ing shithole
The best thing about Edmonton is that the Airport is actually in another town and that all the good places to shop and go are at the outskirts so you don't ever have to really enter it.

P.S Alberta isn't entirely Shitty, Rolling fields and valley's, Calgary is actually pretty nice and we have the nicest part of the Canadian Rocky's

It's constantly talked about as being the longest drive from arena to airport in the league.

Denver has gotta be pretty close too. Their airport is about 30 minutes from downtown Denver with no traffic.

And for some reason when playing Washington DC based sports teams, the opponents have to fly in and out of Dulles which is like 40 minutes from DC. Which is weird, as there's an airport right in DC, but for some reason they make the sports teams fly in through Dulles, which is quite a bit of a haul.

Its a nice small airport and for those of us that live outside of Edmonton its super easy to get to. I actually look forward to drive to the airport and I'm guessing that's not a normal thing in most parts of the world.

I feel like everyone from here wants to retire in the south but I want a house in the mountains on a lake to retire to. Somewhere with seasonal changes, I don't mind snow but wouldn't want to be snowed in for a few months either. Hate being hot though. A friend of a friend type deal just transports cars up and down 95 as a trucker. This is his busy season. Tons of people shipping their cars from NJ and up here down to Heavens Waiting Room.

Bleed...Love those random factoids that come out from something else.

A lot of Monmouth as well.

Essex represents, just maybe not on this board.

It seems Essex is quiet here. Will see if any other takers. But this GDT will move another 7 pages before puck drop... Lol

All that oiler fanbase arrogance from a franchise that has done practically nothing since the 1980s. The same franchise that drafted high 1st round busts like RNH, Yakupov, Puljujarvi, Broberg and Holloway. While the Devils are in the brink of entering a second dynasty era for their franchise which is unprecedented in modern day cap-controlled NHL.

It's definitely not for everybody.

I don't like the seasons much. Snow once or twice a year can be fun, but don't want it constantly. Don't like the cold temperatures. It freezes here a couple of times every so many years. I don't think I'd deal with the cold as well now in my middle years. I don't even like it when I have to put on a pair of pants and a jacket a few times a year here when a cold front comes through. We actually had a chilly cold front (by our standards) come through about 2 weeks ago.

That said, the humidity is too much for me sometimes. I almost always jump in the Gulf or pool when it gets bad.

Best f***ing fan base on HF
It's weird, because for a team that hasn't been successful for a decade, nor big market, our forum is pretty active compared to some on here. Some teams much more successful at that.

I won't name what teams boards aren't so active (no need to start a fanbase wiener measuring match) and honestly, I haven't been to many lately to know, but we are by no means a dead forum. There's almost always lots of posts here.

And I'd like to point out my mistake. Essex is the one with more gross places than Bergen, my apologies to you and any Essex county people I may have offended.
f*** that and your 'apology'

Bergen is slimy and full of animals, but I'll take them because I don't have a choice.

Essex is salt of the earth. Hard working hustling actual Americans.

Franklin Lakes can eat my ass, I'd literally rather live in downtown Newark.

This GDT is like an episode of SouthPark
No, this GDT is a bunch of messages about nothing. So it would have to be a different show where the characters constantly talk past each other rehashing the same nonsense yet never manage to actually listen or learn anything. Can’t really think of one like that though.
