I thought about it for a long time today, and I've come to the conclusion that there was no valid reason to play Hedberg tonight. None. I'm not saying he completely lost the game for the Devils tonight but boy was he a big reason why. I don't see what the harm would have been playing Kinkaid tonight, what just because it would've been his first game and it would've been on the road? Leafs fans don't know who the **** he is anyway, they wouldn't have been able to chirp him.

I'm disgusted and like someone said above, if Hedberg plays tomorrow I will seriously contemplate not watching.

Edit: Oh and on the Kessel goal, a mistake by Zids again pinching but I also don't like how Greene handled the 2 on 1. He tried covering the pass but lost track of Kessel and it was an easy pass on over to him.

they sure did achieve maclean level of suck 5 losses in a row first time since dec 2010

Maclean was actually given a better forward lineup than this.

Jim was getting flamed for complaining about the first round pick last year not being forfeited. I think right now it's really looking completely indefensible, and inexcusable. We're on pace for a top 15 pick this year. We're also on pace for a top 15 next year if Lou/Hucksterbeek do not upgrade the offense with guys on the UFA market.

4 or 5 games is a little slump

this is 10 games in a 48 game season i think its called being a not very good hockey team. im pretty sure they are not that good.

they had a hot start because of really timely goals, good goaltending they are getting nonen of that now..im not saying they can't make playoffs but they are very average

How quickly we forget. This is NOT MacLean level. This loss was on Hedberg, Elias and an inability to convert 3 or 4 jewels.

This matches their worst losing streak since the MacLean era in 2010 just when they pulled the plug and Lemaire took over.

This team is giving up 3,4,5 goals per game religiously. Say what you want about the offense, but this is not Devils hockey. We don't win games giving up goals at that rate. Moose's numbers for his last 6 starts are absolutely atrocious.

No it's the first. The other was a 4 game losing streak that consisted of 3 OT losses, and just 1 regulation loss.

What's even worse than 5 loses in a row, look at the teams we've lost to....Winnipeg twice, Buffalo, Toronto and Ottawa. These 5 games could have really put us in great shape towards making the playoffs but after ******** the bed, we're heading quickly for a dive down to a lottery pick...at least the draft s at home this year!

If we're gonna suck, then go all out and suck really bad. I'll take a Mackinnon, Drouin, or Barkov.
