The most obvious takeaway from this game is how slow the Isles defenders are. Every single time in transition, we can get take it to the outside and blow past them with pure speed and there's nothing they can do about it.

I suppose this is a good time to point out that McLeod is only 2 games away from tying a career high of NHL games without a goal.

His previous drought was 38 games, the first 38 of his career.

Tonight is 37 games without a goal if he doesn't score in this game.

Not sure if he's been credited with a shot on goal tonight, but he has a goose egg for shots on goal in the previous 3 games. So he's still looking for his first shot on goal of the year if it hasn't come in this game, I don't believe it has.

Kind of hard to break that drought when you don't even have a shot on goal. Maybe someone can shoot it off of him and it goes in for a goal.
