This is such a prototypical game the Devils lose and everyone says Ruff has to be fired.

Let’s see how it plays out. If they get goalies and lose 1-0 I doubt anyone watching the game blames Ruff.

I don't really care if it's a weak goal. Blackwood is not a good goalie. The sooner people come to terms with that, the better. That being said, the team needs to score goals (and play good defense too, which they have).

They allowed 27 PPG that year, a league low. They scored 15 shorthanded goals that year to lead the league.

We did have a whole lot of shots (probably not 15, but I'm sure it was 12 or 13) in the 1st period of the last game and didn't score.

Then the goals started coming the next 2 periods.
