That's hilarious lol"youve probably never even been to Raleigh"
only real ones of this board get this reference lmao
Goals will be few and far between. I'm not getting good vibes for this one.
Feel like we’re due for a breakout, we know who’s starting for them?

2 points in the standings and Jack Nico Bratt points is what we will get! This also applies to tomorrow's game as well.We need to get something out of this game.
Silly man, we want THE HAULA TRICK2 points in the standings and Jack Nico Bratt points is what we will get! This also applies to tomorrow's game as well.
Mercer is not on the 4th line Boqvist is. Mercer is on the 2nd line with Jack and Yegor at least what I'm seeingI really hate wasting Mercer on the 4th line. He needs to be back with Hughes. Let’s stop being so insistent on Haula with Hughes. Let’s give something else an extended try.
Its not a 4th line. All lines are balanced. Whatever lines are playing well will see ice time.I really hate wasting Mercer on the 4th line. He needs to be back with Hughes. Let’s stop being so insistent on Haula with Hughes. Let’s give something else an extended try.
What if...and don't call me crazy here...but perhaps it's possible...that a really solid defensive structure in front of a goalie has a big influence on their save %?Kochetkov has been very impressive, but sometimes I wonder about goalies there in recent years.
Mrazek somehow got Kyle Dubas to give him a 3 year deal because of two solid seasons there (he did have a below average season there as well) and he's played well nowhere else since 2015-2016.
Andersen somehow goes from looking anywhere from worse than Jack Campbell to shot and broken in Toronto, then has a Vezina contending season in Carolina.
Raanta looks like he's about cooked, comes to Carolina and performs above average.
Both have been shit this year. Freddie has been injured and hasn't played a game since two nights after Blackwood last played. You can only shelter old and frequently injured goalies so long.
No, it's missing the net, hitting a post, and the curvature of the earth and the force of gravity causing the shot to bounce of accumulated air molecules in front of the open net where the difference in the ambient temperature above the goal line as opposed to the unlined ice in front of the goal line creates a small atmospheric and magnetic disturbance that only manifests when Haula shoots and the net is open. The Haula trick is missing the net, hitting a post and fanning on a shot

Yes and no.What if...and don't call me crazy here...but perhaps it's possible...that a really solid defensive structure in front of a goalie has a big influence on their save %?
I know, I know...it's hard to believe...but it just might be a thing.
Errrrfrrttrtrrrrdrfrrrrrfggghhgghhhhh.Yes and no.
There's some teams where it's definitely the case and sometimes when a coach comes and goes.
Minnesota definitely made Dubnyk, Kahkonen, Stalock, etc look better.
But there's a lot of goalies that look terrible anywhere, outside of random years.
Some teams play well, but their goalies still suck. See Fleury this year. Guy is totally shot and not even their best goalie, but I don't think they know that yet.
I.....I ....but .... Nah. Who would ever argue such nonsense. What if...and don't call me crazy here...but perhaps it's possible...that a really solid defensive structure in front of a goalie has a big influence on their save %?
