They get progressively worse every game. It’s very worrying.

They need a bench boss who'll tell them to keep at it, you can see that their guys somewhat sulk when they aren't finishing their chances. Mainly the core guys. It also doesn't help our superstar is playing at 10%, if THAT.

The only good thing about this Green experiment is that I think there's a greater chance we have a coaching staff made up of a bunch of flying pigs next year than one that features Travis Green.

The numbers under both coaches have been bad since the new year, but this shit under Green is next level. Some of those games like yesterday where we ring up a lot of shots probably flatter him a bit, but this team looks like the wheels completely came off under him.

There were definitely a couple of games in the last 2 weeks of Ruff like that, but the stuff I've seen post-Ruff is pretty alarming.

And that's not letting Ruff off the hook either. This isn't a PRO-RUFF post.
Do the flying pigs have a good track record behind the bench?

This reminds me of that game in LA back in 2013-2014. I don't know if the Walking Dead stuff reminded me of that (That episode was new at the time) or the Martinez stuff, but this looks exactly like that. Maybe not quite as pathetic because we have some better players than we had then.

Anyway, we were getting outshot like 25-5 at one point in the 2nd period. We had like 5 shots the whole game at one point well into the 2nd period or maybe even by the end of the 2nd period.

Schneider basically was just stopping everything. One of our shots was Andy Greene shooting the puck from behind his own net and down almost 200 feet to the other goalie, which probably didn't even count as a shot.

We won that game 2-1 in OT. I think Jagr scored the OT winner and I think it was that game where there were enough penalties in OT that we got 3 on 3 before 3 on 3 was an actual thing in OT.

Something has changed, the team is worse.

They're mentally checked out, it is what it is at this point. Fitz deserves some blame for not pulling the trigger on the coach right around when Lou pulled the trigger for Roy. Worst thing that happened this year was the Jack/Nico injuries because it bought Lindy even more time to sink this season.

Not sure why our GM thought that was a thing

It was a mercy firing because our fans would've killed Lindy in the Panthers game with those chants, Fitz 100% deserves blame for not doing it sooner and with a legit coach hire like say Woodcroft.
