It's been a few years since I've peeped his career splits against us, but Markstrom had some HIDEOUS numbers against us for the longest time.

I don't even think he won against us for the first time until last season.

Well, actually I'm wrong. I know he won at least one game against us with the Panthers, because I was there and we lost in overtime. But that was way back in the lockout season.

We had the insane winning streak over Vancouver from 2015 until last season and I don't think Markstrom ever beat us when he played for Vancouver. And we didn't play Calgary his first season there, so I think he probably only beat us the one time last year and maybe the one time in Florida in 2013.

He didn't have quite Steve Mason numbers against us (who never won a single game against us in his career, not even with the Flyers those few years), but they were pretty bad.

Fun fact about Markstrom. His first ever NHL game was against us in 2011. He didn't get the start, but entered the game in relief of Scott Clemmensen, who was pulled by Pete DeBoer after 1 period of play.

We're outplaying the good teams. Also hard to imagine our possession numbers not being at the top of the league when we're dominating bad teams so much and getting the better of play against the good ones as well.
