How we draft forwards is pretty much my number one concern with Fitz.

The team has traded Anderson, Zetterlund, Sharangovich and Maltsev with Boqvist and Bastian still in the league and an absolute home run in Bratt, and you hope the obvious hasn't flown over Fitz's head: you need players in the system that people actually want if you are going to make trades. And I don't even think our hit rate was all that exceptional under Shero.

Yea weird draft, Johnson is probably going to end up the best forward from that year and he wasn't even rated in the first round.

A good motor and some skills can lead to a decent nhl player even if they lack hockey smarts.

I imagine he’s lacking in skills as well.

Positive news is that we're fully healthy at forward again once Jack returns.
