I’m skeptical we see Jack against Dallas. He probably needs a few days off after that high intensity tournament.
I doubt Jack misses anything. He played 4 games in last 12 days with much less ice time than he gets as a Devil. Only one game he was above 17/18 mins. Not that grueling for him as he averages over 20 here.

We bitch about this team's rotten luck this year but the 4 Nations break was the BEST thing imaginable. I couldn't imagine surviving another week and a half with a crippled lineup. Getting Nico/Markstrom back tomorrow is a god send. Plus no injury to Jack or Bratt was tremendous also
I think Markstrom is another week or two away, but yes. The engine is back, and thats Nico

I hope you are correct. I presume he’s traveling today and we will see tomorrow during the morning skate.

We should of took a run for Guentzel last summer. I can't remember if Fitzgerald attempted to throw him an offer but he is a player who certainly has "the stuff". Guys hockey sense is off the charts. He would be deadly playing with Bratt or Jack. I like Meier when he is on his game but Guentzel would of been a better player to go after.

let’s get down to the business of winning some f***ing hockey games that matter and getting home ice
fify.

Back to the actual NHL season.
I would think Markstrom probably gets held out this weekend, but sounds like he should be back next week-ish
yeah. Keep him out for one more game and let Allen "cook".

how da fuq was he drafted in the first! lol......

its right up there... Mt Whiff
Like Zajacs Bowlcut said , the scouting was almost non-existent that year . It was a shot in the dark pick . But still , I think there were better options than Stillman at our pick . Go off of the year before scouting reports if you had to . I don’t even want to look at who got drafted after our pick or I’ll end up grumpy . Just like the 2015 draft … Zacha over a handful of studs . Rantanen Barzal Connor etc etc
Edit- it’s not that bad for who we missed out on for the Stillman draft . At least if looking at forwards we could have taken instead . Still too early to tell but only a couple guys stick out that would have been better forward picks . Stankoven and Knies . Knies a Stillman type player too . But 100 times better and more skilled . Sucks that Fitz and company didn’t see that back then . Oh well. Hindsight.

I hope they didn't. There were some smoke that Knives had character issues. I don't remember details.

There was Morrow who was hard need for organisation too. More than guy with motor and no hockey iq with 15 goals ceiling. It was a bad pick from the start. We drafted better player in 7th round for "the same role" but with a lot better tools and IQ like I said after the draft, nothing changed.
