I don't actually think it'd matter if they break it or not unless they break it when it matters...the records get set back to 0 next year anyway. Didn't matter when we broke our losing streak last year, it didn't carry over when we won four of our last six or whatever it was down the stretch, the malaise was still there.

CBJ deserves to make the playoffs, tbh. They're the ones making the convincing push to qualify while NJ is getting shutout by CGY. Hopefully the logjam on D gets fixed this offseason, and maybe that could even be paired with getting the team some forwards that can actually score consistently!

right now we're sitting around 42 in the 2nd round.

there are 5-6 teams that are right on our heels though points wise. I think the best we can hope for is around 38 or so realistically.
