Well I would argue both points. Who says that Boeser or Garland wouldn't have worked here? Also, as was mentioned the last game where everyone was so thankful that Gaudreau didn't end up here through some sort of Fitz-magic when the fact was that he put out the best offer at the time and may have upped it if he actually got a call back. Also, maybe he would have worked out here too.

Who knows what would have happened. Should Fitz be criticized for getting an old, fragile Palat for the next 5 years? (just kidding but he is hurt) Johnson? Tatar?

We know that Marino worked out, that's one definitely in the win column but moves that don't happen shouldn't count.

Zetterlund is fantastic. Such a smart player. The exact power forward we needed. I hope he’s a devil for a long time.

I was more hyped for him than Holtz this year to be honest. I love bit gritty, power forward types that can actually play. I put him on day 1 line up predictions on Nico's wing but it took Lindy couple games to catch up. What a player.
