Not at all. For all the missplays or turnovers there were usually players in support positions and the forwards did a nice job filling when the defense challenged the play.

It was pretty bad for a while but they brought it back more towards the end. McLeod's goal also being right in front of the net's a big xG booster. It was a little over half our 5v5 xG.

Loving the shoot first mentality. Been happening all season. Not trying for the cute play constantly which caused problems the last couple of seasons. The McLeod goal is a perfect example of that.

This is viewership bias. Bad plays by your team stick out more than good plays unless the good plays convert. Devil's generated some good chances there that didn't actually go in net.

It also seems worse to go from sheer domination to just even compared to previous games, doesn't mean they're playing terribly.

For as poor as the Canucks record is, they can score. They’ve blown a lot of leads this season and often come out of the gate hot. So you absolutely feel good being up 2-0 in their barn.
