I was starting to type that I think that's SEVEN shutouts this year, which I think is more than we've had the last 3 years combined before this.

We had 1 last year, 3 or 4 in 22-23? I think 2 from Blackwood early in 21-22.

You have to go probably go back to the covid season for our first of 7 shutouts prior to the 7 this season. I'm not sure if that was Blackwood or Wedgewood. That both had a couple shutouts that year.

Was ugly as hell at some points, but when Nico went down I said I wanted 6 points in the final 6 before the break. Just hold your head above water.

They did that.

Now we get Nico back and hope that some guys get a reset in 2 weeks

Thankfully we were finally on the right end of a current goalie shutting out his former team. After getting shutout by our former goalies Blackwood and Wedgewood earlier this year.

Actually, Markstrom shutout Vancouver way earlier in the year, so we do have another one of these.

Not reflected in the numbers but I thought the Hughes Nemec pairing was much better today. As long as they improve we should keep them together even if there will be some pains.

I've been hard on him but Allen has been the best player since the Markstrom injury IMO. It looked like it was gonna be rough sledding with him after that first Philly game.

I don't even think he played bad against Buffalo or Vegas.
