Our goal tending is sooooo bad that outside of Daws who has been avg to below avg. I've been conditioned to think any puck that doesn't hit our goalie dead on is a good save. Like "Oh shit our goalie got a blocker on it or got a part of his glove on it. They must be playing pretty good." Then these stinkers happen and I'm like "Oh yeah they just suck."

Bratt needs to be better with Hughes out.

Not a statement on his skill or his future, as I'm not worried at all and lesser streaks happen to star players (he still has 6 points in his last 10 games), but with Hughes out he needs to be the main play driver.

This is a just a completely poorly coached game by Ruff.

The ice time has been beyond questionable. Bratt with 9 minutes and the 2nd period is just about over.

This is the kind of game that's gonna make ice cold the next time they pan to Ruff on the bench and he just looks anxious and like he's just giving the f*** up.

Bratt needs to play more.

That's on Ruff. I don't know what he's trying to pull with this one.

I think Hammond is playing very well tonight. The puck possession was all Colorado in that period. And really I don’t blame us mainly for that. They just threw a great period at us.

How are you a defenseman in the NHL when you are tipping pucks into your own net because you are not aware ofyour stick angle when you are blocking a puck🤔

Is it me or does Hammond have big yellow stain on his sweater above the logo?

Dano beat me to the altitude excuse, but I was thinking that affected guys that have never played in high elevation before like maybe Mercer, Zetterlund, Bahl (insert tall guy elevation joke), but everyone else should be used it to it.

Interesting that it was the Aube-Kubel line that turned the game around for them, keeping us pinned in endlessly and getting them ahead. Started with an icing by us but after that it seemed they had the puck forever and took it back from us the moment we did get it. Boy they pressured us good.

He looks like he's playing well cause he hasn't had to move a lot and few pucks hit him. Yes the Avs have started to out play us, but their shots haven't been super dangerous. The first 1st goal is off Ty Smith, but he kicks it out to the almost the same spot on the 3rd goal. He makes some ok saves, but he constantly alley oops it to the other team or just whiffs more than avg.

I'd like to know why McLeod is playing so much tonight? He can't f***ing score at all, he hasn't in 25 games (and that ain't the first time it's been THAT long, nor the second time) and why the f*** are we playing him so much?

Because his line doing well?

Hischier is having trouble with Mac/Ratanen + Nichushkin with these linemates. Mercer is a mess.

Colorado picked up several defensive forward rentals.

It’s not looking like a very winnable game and McLeod, whose playing time has noticeably dropped for a while, and his line is our best line this game. You might as well roll with them.

Nobody really gets used to it in 2 days. We are just visiting there. It’s a huge effect.

It was a 1 in 1000 play. Pure luck. D-men have their stick in that position unconsciously multiple times a game.

Can maybe blame him on the third one as to the rebound. But their non stop pressure takes its toll.
