Post-Game Talk: Devils at Rangers 12/7/13

After that horrendous, and I mean horrendous call. I want every goal that the Rangers score like that to count. Worst call of the year by far, and changed the game completely.

Funny how the Devs are being carried by 50 year old Jagr this year..lol. He'll lose steam as the season progress (like he's done the past couple years), then they'll go nowhere.
 
Can we please get rid of Boyle? I dont even care if we replace him with someone worse, I'm just tired of looking at him fall down, get penalties and get wrecked in fights.

It's OK to not want him to be Captain, but to get rid of a guy who is perfect for a 2nd or 3rd line at this point doesnt make any sense.

I agree, Cally is simply not playing on the right line. Richards/Zuc do not compliment his game. That line needs a sniper. Cally needs to play with grinders.

Moore got beat badly by Ryder, where was Lundqvist to bail him out? Didn't come up with a big save. In fact, it's a shot that was very stoppable.

Callahan makes a dumb play in OT, and Lundqvist doesn't bail him out by stopping a routine point shot.

He didn't stop the shots he needed to.

Lundqvist has been inconsistent this season. I don't understand how he can stand on his head in Buffalo, just a few days ago, and than put in this performance.

Who knows, really? I thought the contract was supposed to be the reason for his inconsistent play. He did his best to earn that .833 SV% tonight, that's for sure.

You used the word "quality" when talking about the Rangers. You also used the words "hockey club" when talking about the Rangers. Two mulligans, sir.

Devils rookie Boucher shoulder To his jaw. Probably broken. He's pretty much done I feel... Sad really.
I don't know how it wasn't a penalty, was pretty dirty. Did any of this sack lacking team do anything about it? Nope.
I can't remember a less physical, mentally fragile group of Rangers , well , ever.

More like based on the quality of the hockey clubs around them in the standings.

As of right now this team is only good for the playoffs because of how bad the Metro is. The Rangers are not very good.

That entire line was a horror show this game. Moore is a good player but he has two anchors around his neck with Pyatt/Boyle. They really need to get those two off the team pronto.

Jesus Christ, let's just throw out everything he's done in his career to this point because he's had a bad quarter of a season.

Some of you guys...I wonder if you even were old enough to remember what Rangers hockey was like before the lockout.

I just watched the replay on MSG he did a hockey stop directly into the puck to push it in what a ****in joke.
 
It´s too bad Lundqvist couldn´t take a home team discount. Now Cally and Girardi will get overpayed and from there on it´s country club time. Lundy 8.5, Nash 7.8, Richards 6,66. That´s a lot of dollars...
 
Zuccarello and kreider have been our most consistent players. Richards is playing betetr now but he is hot and cold. Stepan callahan and staal all are having rough seasons

my point is that people always want prospects and picks thinking every one of them is going to be crosby. You will be lucky if those 1st rounders are as good as callahan and girardi
 
If you're looking for me to say NYR are Stanley cup contenders as of this moment, you won't get it.

But we are better than the Walt Disney's and the final standings will vindicate that. Take whatever solace in that you will.
 
Can someone please explain to me, what is Hank doing so special to receive $8m per year?

I remember competitive teams. I remember Exciting young players, even if we DIDN'T win a cup. I remember winning a president's trophy. I remember winning a god damned stanley cup.
