Bahl has also impressed me over this stretch. He makes very sound plays with the puck, good passes on the tape. He makes the right play and makes it calmly. When you couple that with his strength just one on one, he's definitely a keeper. A couple of times tonight he just rode big Islanders forwards out of the play like he was shrugging his shoulders. But as I said, his calmness with the puck really surprises me. He's shown in the offensive end too, just getting it to the net and not getting his little wrist shot blocked. Bravo for this debut in the league.

Ya I'll give Sieg's the benefit of the doubt and say he was just rusty, but you have to feel these two will be battling for that 3rd left spot next year. And Sieg's also has the benefit, so to speak, in having to clear waivers.

But purely from what we have seen this year, Bahl has easily been the better of the two.

I have to say watching Sal praise the 6-on-5 at the end of the game... Palms was a little lax this year. I don’t know if Palms was a shot blocking, correct shooting lanes kind of player this year. And I’m a big Palms fan.

Wonderful game by Thompson, Studenic and Foote. A couple of fine shifts in the 3d cycling the puck in the Isles end.

Loved Boqvist’s game. You can see him gaining confidence game by game and how the play is slowing down for him.

Little slow on the release early, maybe should have just wacked at the one when he was in the slot in the second, great toe drag shot in the 3rd.

Skating very nicely overall.
