They made it look so easy, all those guys in white were just kind of standing around. Might as well of played a man down. I'm slightly embarrassed, but Pitt's D was even more so.

He should be. His low, accurate, tippable shot is great, and we already know he has the passing ability to set up Kovy's bomb. Put Clarkson in front tipping pucks, Kovy in the left circle, and Larsson at the point, and he'll rack up the assists.
It would cause massive cognitive dissonance among the fanbase at first, but I think it would work. Adding the crafty veteran at the end of his career is a great move going into a Cup run.

Very good effort today. Kinda looked tired early in the game, but we kept it tight defensively. Marty had a great game. Good to see Matteau get his first. Henrique has 4 goals in 6 games. Loved Butler's first on the PP! I don't know what it is, but I'm really loving him. It's refreshing to see a number another 9 that's productive for us.
Also glad we didn't softy it up against Crosby today.

Now I'm 4-0 at the Rock. Was really fun today, too bad I'll leave tomorrow. Absolutely love to be at the games, great atmosphere and the stadium just explodes when we score (chanting "you suck" is just one of the best things ever).
I had a feeling this wouldn't end well as the Pens scored early and we weren't able to convert a lot of big chances at first. Glad that Matteau and Butler finally put one home, hope that boosts their confidence.
Personally, I'd say Barch's fight was the turning point and woke everybody up.
Marty was just amazing once again, altough I nearly had a heartattack when he went to get this stick (and the approximatly 1 minute he was without one).

You can't imagine how bad I'd want to work here for a year and actually get season tickets.
Got a pair in 101 for 35$ a piece. Great view, but I guess you got a good view from everywhere in the stadium, just a phenomenal arena.
Some of them would still probably call him a selfish Russian. Doc Cherry for one.
The sane ones would say that he has rounded his game much better since coming to NJ.
The really crazy ones (in the other direction) would nominate him for the Selke.

If he stays even remotely close to his current pace (~40 goals in a full season), Canucks will laugh at the idea of trading one of their top 6 forwards before the playoffs.
