Strictly in terms of his composure with the puck, Nemac reminds me of Larsson's early days. Doesn't really panic, looks like he's playing in slo-mo at times but makes the right play and can usually come away with the puck.
I can kind of see it, he's a better skater though and more offensively aware.

Damn, nice goal. Nemec showing his great skating through all three zones, finds a guy behind the net, who then feeds Moynihan in front.

Yeah that's mostly where the comparison ends for me lol. He's better in those areas, probably won't be as physical either. But a better skating, more offensive Larsson sounds like a pretty good player to me
That's what held Larsson back from being a top-pair D-man, which I feel is what Nemec can definitely be.

The thing about Lars and I'd say the same for Smith, was that they wanted to play a smooth poised patient game without making the kind of reads and threat assessment that those types of players make. Both of their IQs were not as good as advertised.

We'll see how Nemec progresses. But I agree, he's got that calm demeanor we've lacked since Nieds and Paul Martin left.

Stillman winning over this board would be f***ing hilarious.
