Remember that hilarious "don't touch the PP thread"?

Good times.

How dare we risk a middle of the pack PP. It was middle of the pack literally all year.
and the thing is even when it was good last year it wasn't a real strength because we were close to last in the opportunities since we were so bad 5 on 5.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in Drury's office today. Thinking of the type of player he was seeing his team pull another no-show in game seven of all times...He's got to be more livid than we are.

Trouba lays a similar hit in Game 1, or we drill Hughes when he tries to deke around 4 Ranger players, and the Devils aren't all too eager to move into the offensive zone the way they did.

The only way it matters is if he knocks Hughes out of the series like he did Crosby.

I think NJ bought into the whole matchup theory -- it was a matchup that heavily favored them based on style of play. Then they played loose, throw in some playoff inexperience, and got rolled for two games and then realized that they better put their minds to it and go to work.

Once they took charge of the neutral zone and our blue line it was series over.

They didn't have to be close to Edmonton they just had to be a little above average which is what you should expect with the guys they have on the powerplay. Instead they were as bad as the icelanders.
True. But the point is they can't win by just being good or even average on the powerplay and since they are poor 5 on 5 they typically don't draw as many penalties.

I know I'd be pissed if I put together a team with names of this caliber and they didn't just lose in the first round but were embarrassing in all 4 losses.

It didn't need to be Trouba.

Laf even could have laid into a nice hit as Hughes literally was skating with his head down trying to regain possession of a bouncing puck, and Laf skated away.

Just like people get upset when they piss away a prime scoring chance, people should get pissed when they don't bury someone onto the ice.

It's why I can't stand KAM and his f***ing poke checks.

The Rangers drew enough penalties early last night to score at least one and who knows if they're leading after the first maybe it's a different game. You're right though a team has to be good in all facets of the game to win a Cup, not only on the man advantage.

Put the kids on the MacKinnon diet. Sweet potato, chicken, vegetables. Knock the bubbalicious out of Laf's mouth. Put child safety controls on his Grubhub. No more junk. No more poutine. Only slow foods, for his slow self.
I mean that didn’t really work out too well for the Avs

What makes it worse is he has the size to crush people and chooses not to.
