Devils had better regular season than Rangers. Going to 7. Gallant is a buffoon.

Boston had greatest season ever. Going to 7 with an 8 seed. Can only imagine what Montgomery is.

Chris Kreider choosing to using the word prodigious in a post game interview is what's wrong with this franchise but I'll give him a pass tonight.

Rangers need more illiterates?

I guess I missed the games in this series that zib and trocheck haven't dressed for bc of injury?

Not comparable at all.
Yea and Boston set a record for most points, had 43 more points than Florida, and had a 3-1 series lead and lost the last 2 with everybody in the lineup. Gallant would be getting ripped to shreds.

Very true. Igor not getting enough credit.
Well, to be fair, if you’re the news media, who are you going to fawn over? Igor or “AKIRA”…?

New Jersey is terrible in their own zone. They crumble under any pressure.

The recipe is there. Get the puck deep. GET. THE. PUCK. DEEP.

and shoot the puck. hockey gods reward people who shoot in the playoffs.
And swarm the net-front.

I feel like the rangers played almost as badly as they did game 5 but the pucks were going in the net this time. Hopefully they tighten it back up a bit and realize they just need to hit the damn net if they want to score.

igor was massive when he needed to be. really had a presence to him all night, loved seeing the way he carried himself. team definitely came out tentative and clearly a bit rattled by what's happened, igor held the fort and allowed them time to find a goal.

once they got that goal late first the game shifted - devils still had some great chances but the rangers were a lot more engaged and were able to generate their own pushes / great chances that they buried. great seeing mika get on the board, tank has been awesome....just love his hustle and that shot was something very few have in the bag. even his celebrations are great to watch, not to say i care what guys do/don't do, but it's noticeable the way he immediately finds teammates and has a genuine joy about him. was almost palpable the way their confidence came back all over the ice once they got up a goal and then 2. in the 3rd were very structured and limited the devils chances / kept them outside and took advantage of a few of the opportunities that come when teams are pressing.

the one area i thought left a lot of room for improvement was puck movement. they were generally responsible with it which is the biggest thing, but lots of missed passes all over the ice. the slow start was also an issue, but i think that came more from a team in a bit of shellshock than a team that wasn't ready for puck drop.

they did what they had to do.

Jersey fans are such sore losers over there. Anything positive the Rangers do and have ever done is based purely on luck according to them lol. And they "deserve" to win this series.

You don't "deserve" anything. You earn it. Or in the Rangers case just luck your way there lol.

f***ing finally Fox played more ESTOI than Braden Schneider LMAAO...

Don't see why Miller had more ESTOI than Fox but keep riding your horses, Gallant.

Afraid the only reason Fox ended up with so much more PPTOI than Trouba was because of the intermission stradlers but please, keep the first PP unit on like you did last year.

This ain't a f***in regular season game in Columbus in January. Ride your top players.

This is not very good, the result is great obviously, but I don't think I should try and watch game 7.

Decided to lie down for the first period of TOR-TBL, fell asleep. Again we scored 5 goals and won, when I was in dream land.

That's 3/3 ... Anybody else got this feeling?

Momentum from the PP helped us get our sea legs. Pulling Akira(Duncan from the geico commercial) was a bit of a gamble. Does watching from bench calm him down? Would love to see Bread do something. Its amazing how speed neutralizes Trouba's physicality. Kreider the playmaker at the critical point of the game...who would of thunk? LGR

Mika was criticized and answered the call.

Can we please keep Tarasenko?

I don’t want to make an excuse, but I believe in Game 1 or 2 Chytil got slashed in the hand. I wonder if he got injured on the play, because he can’t handle the puck at all right now. Kakko sent a beautiful pass in his direction and he just fumbled it. He’s had a few plays like that in this series since that slash.

The Rangers should have swept this team. They have no goaltender. Meier and Nico haven't scored a goal in this series. Hughes hasn’t scored a goal since game 4 on the breakaway. He was more effective earlier in the series. Mercer didn’t do anything until game 5. The rest of their forwards aren’t very good. Palat left his game in TB. Tatar was always overrated. Has anyone see Bratt? How much money did Bratt want long-term from the Devils? He should have taken whatever they offered him last summer. The Rangers are having trouble with Graves, Severson and Bahl. Hamilton is the only quality D on that team. The Rangers played Pittsburgh last season. Marino isn't that good. That Jonas guy had a good year but Ruff scratched him in game 2 which was odd.

The Rangers are a flawed team. It shows. Hopefully, they can win game 7 and avoid the epic failure of losing this series to that team. Ruff should win the Jack Adams for that team having 100 plus points this season.
