More the players than the coach, IMO. The coach doesn't control if this team loses 4 in a row twice in a row.

The coach needs to tell them they suck. They seriously think they played well the past two games and they need to stick to what they’re doing because they don’t have a coach that tells them they suck

North South hockey, but its not enough to preach it, they have to build their lines around it. I was scared to touch the kid line but they have gone cold too so here's my lineup next game.

I think that third line could cause a lot of problems for new jersey if they focus on north south hockey and the kids help get some jump to the top two lines, Kakko draws the short stick and ends up on the 4th linr unfortunately .

Somehow I’m still surprised by the dramatic overreactions. That sucked, no doubt. Squandering the 2 game lead sucks also.

The series isn’t over and the team isn’t hopeless and terrible though - have a memory longer than the past week and take a breath.

You really shouldn't be surprised. It happens after every loss and it's 10X worse in the playoffs. Season was over when we were down 3-1 against Pitt. Season was over when we were down 3-2 against Carolina. Now it's over in a 2-2 series.

As long as Game 4 vs Pittsburgh 2022 exists (and wasn't a hallucination I had in a psychotic break) I don't think I will ever see another challenger for "worst rangers playoff game ever".

Not only did we lose 7-2, but usually when that happens, the analytics get wonky.

The xG were legit like 5-1 in that game.

Yup. The narrative coming in was these young, speedy, small Devils could not play playoff-style hockey. That narrative was clearly wrong.

They're working hard, NJ is. As puckluck says, the other team is trying too. But we gotta stiffen up in response. Do we have another gear? That's the question.

Too many guys who handle the puck like a hand grenade. I would think about putting Jones in the lineup. The Devils are not the kind of team that's likely to take advantage of his lack of size.

At least he was willing to play ugly hockey and started a play that led to our only goal.

Panarin is still out there making 60 stretch passes through the neutral zone. He’s a human two line pass to the other team.

Game 3 was whatever, they weren't sharp. Tonight they simply didn't give a f***. Completely inexcusable to play like it's game 82 after you've already clinched. A fireable offense for the head coach and honestly the entire team.

This was unacceptable hockey. Mika Kreider Kane Panarin Fox Tarasenko and the worst player on the ice lafreniere who embarrassed himself tonight.

These guys should be ashamed of that performace

And then you actually tie this miserable game and shesterkin get beat from the east river to lose the game. Insult to injury wirh that one.

Gallant has 4th liners on the ice and trouba wirh 30 secs left

From the coach thru the lineup we lost that game like it was a preseason game no one gave a f*** about

And Panarin continues like this and gets us eliminated in the first round he should be traded. Talk about a shell of yourself come playoff time
