Not over, but definitely frustrated that they continue to piss away opportunities to put teams away and win a series in less than 6 games. You have the Devils on the ropes and now they have life. Pressure's 100% on the Rangers on Monday now. If this goes back to Jersey tied they're not losing all 3 at home. Guaranteed.

This is my only positive from the game. I thought the Rangers played a very poor game and NJ didn’t play well either. The ice sucked and both teams seemed to be fighting it. There were very few high danger chances. Devils needed the W. They now have some confidence and momentum and will push harder next game. On the flip side, the Rangers are an experienced group and got a couple gut punches after pretty much laying head shots for 2 games. They will respond.

Again this was never going to be a sweep. The Rangers didn’t play badly. The Devils had their back and the walks and made some adjustments. Things went there way tonight. It happens. We’ve seen it happen all the time around the league it’s nothing new

I must have watched a different game than a lot of you tonight. I think they played well. It's the freaking playoffs, shit gets contested a lot more than the regular season. I didn't think the Devils were going to lay down. Just the same, I felt the Rangers were the better team.
Some other observations:
Ferraro and McD suck dirty sweaty bums nutsack, it sucks just sucks listening to them.
Both goals they chirped our fans like the fans are in their head,, they are not beating the Rangers 4 games.

What is going to happens is we are going back to Jersey with the series tied at 2 rather than us up 3-1. Game 4 was always going to go to the Devils, this one is the one we let get away.
Will the Devils lose 3 home games in a row? Possible of course, but I doubt Gallant feels great about tonight even though he probably said nothing to the team after the game.

I don't agree with the assumption that the Devils are still ass and we just played down to them tonight.
They did turn it on and they still barely beat us. They were much better than they were int he first two games and gave us a real test.
I don't see this team really hammering us and I don't see them winning a game like that 3/4 times without a bunch of luck.
This is also the first time in the series the Devils gave us anything worth adjusting to and we will.

I wouldn't change the personnel one bit. The personnel got away from what made them successful in Games 1 and 2.
That, and this organization has a penchant for absolutely beefing it at home in these situations.

I don't think we played down at all, actually. Our skill decided to take the night off. It wasn't for lack of effort. That is what makes it sting a bit more. The Devils can be much better.

Nothing is guaranteed. The game could have gone either way and nobody should have expected a sweep. Every series is 2-1. The Devils are a good team and so are the Rangers. The Devils are still down in the series so the pressure is actual more on them. Rangers in 6.

Kreider added another one to his playoff resume. Unfortunately it was the only goal we scored tonight. He's focused, locked in. But we are going to need more from others. Three games in and no goals from Mika or Panarin. Panarin had two great looks and missed the net both times. That's not going to cut it.
