Devils board is all like “how come no one is covering Kreider waaaaaaaaa bad coaching.”

Uh, idiots, maybe because if you man him up then Mika Zibanejad or Artemi Panarin has free looks? You are down a man, you can’t “cover” him.

*Someone* is going to be open and there's no weak spot in that group. Kane. Zibanejad. Kreider. Fox. Panarin.

They've figured it out at precisely the right time

Debbies are weak both mentally and physically.

Where are all the doomers who thought this f***ing team we have would get clowned?

These guys are playing playoff hockey to a tee right now. They didn't give a f*** about the regular season and it shows.
I doubted they could just turn it on but happy to be wrong. When they coast through the regular season next year I won't doubt them

Team is so f***ing deep it gets me hard.

Mika is a god defensively and Panarin is actually playing defence :)
We have an elite goalie and someone must have told them that when you have that and limit the quantity/quality of shots you go far

Me and the game highlights...

Lot of hockey left in this series but as someone mentioned this team has been very good at home and was lights out last year in the playoffs.

Other than a rookie goalie coming in and stealing a game I can’t see any adjustments the devils can make to win this series. They just don’t measure up when our boys hit the playoff level of hockey they were waiting to hit.

Me too. Only reason I go read over there is because they were so goddamn cocky before this series began.
If you post anything on their board, prepare to probably be Infracted/banned. It's what I would do if their fans came over here after back to back blowout wins.

Read. Don't post. and don't bring material over here from their board. Don't want to see any of our fans banned for the playoffs for one stupid moment of glory 😂

Ive never posted there in my 15+ years on this board and I dont plan to start now. I also never quote or bring anything over. Never done any of that.

Nah. He’s cool. @mas0764 is earnest and pleasant, if a little misguided :)

.... thanks? Haha.

Listen, if you don't like people disagreeing with you then I don't know why you'd come on a message board.

But I'm not a troll.

I just don't agree with a lot of choices the Rangers have made. Most of my hockey views probably closely mirror machinehead and he's a mod for pete's sake.

And to be honest I'm not sure it's the wrong decision. Like.... hope that Kreider doesn't pull off a perfect tip, or give Mika Zibanejad time and space to get off a shot?

They just mad because they getting that ass beat.

Last year, Messier said that when Kaako gets his man-strength, he'll be very difficult to handle.

He couldn't have been more right.

He still has a way to go but the progress is nice.

I still am hoping for a 40-40 player.

Victory laps are a bit premature here. This Devils team does not look ready for playoff hockey, but that can change on a dime with a few adjustments.

Let’s hope the boys are focused on winning game 3 and then let’s take it from there.

This is true.

The good news is that the series shifts home where even in a letdown scenario you should split and then be up 3-1. Not quite the same as being up 2-0 but heading to Tampa to play a team that has won 2 Cups before.

Fewer games means fewer injuries and time to heal the bruises. Better to be rusty for R2 G1 than to have guys play tired or with injuries. Let's wrap this up in the Garden and come back for R2 healthy and rested. For the players, it will feel like a 3 round Spring instead of 4 if you sweep R1.
Its also possible that should we move on our R2 opponent will be similarly rusty so this doesn't even matter. Canes will dismantle the Isles in 5 if not sweep them

You are not a troll, you are a good poster here who contributes valid points to the discussion. Not sure if it was you or someone else about Kreider, but the last thing I want to read, is about moving Kreider now, after he just scored 4 huge goals in 2 playoff games. I think a lot of folks feel that way or I could be wrong, I dunno. Lol.

Listen, if we all agreed on stuff, this place would be very boring. Would be called the StepFord boards, Lol.
