Don't be. The Kings actually don't want the media around until Wednesday, and ONLY on Wednesday. Jon was lucky to be able to talk to Emerson yesterday.

Makes sense. Let the kids focus on development without the media attention--which some of them have seen little/none of.

I didn't think it was anything too bad. I read it as his development stalled a bit being away from the NA game in the KHL.

That and when he made his comments he had yet to do any work with Max and had only seen him skate briefly. Max is going to be fine. There will be a bit of an adjustment period but that was expected by him and the Kings. The great thing is about Max is that he is a fast read and plays up to the level of competition he faces. He is a clutch player who likes physical hockey. He is going to be fine.

Is it open to the public tomorrow afternoon I will be working in LA in the morning and would like to go by after...

is the 2nd group session happening at 3:15pm ? i plan on heading down.. not much info given on lakingsinsider.

wasnt clear if that was the schedule for the whole week.

Well, in that case, guess I'll be making my way over tomorrow. :)

How does Jeff Shevalier look?

One of my favorite Summer Camp stories is from a friend on the msg boards, when Wayne Simmonds asked him "where do I go?" when he arrived. He had no idea Wayne was a player. He said he looked like about 160 pounds and had bird legs.

The other time was when I was at the final day of camp when they had a full scrimmage at night and I saw Cammalleri behind the glass - upper level and he was alone, watching the game. I hung out with him a bit and asked a few questions. No one else around knew who he was. he had some minor injury, that kept him out of the scrimmage.

Was he standing on a stack of phone books to look over the glass?

And I don't know about the rest of you, but that Keith Redmond kid is going to be an imposing power forward one of these days.

Sylvain Couterier looks like he'll fit in to Sutter's system nicely. And we can use Don McLean's scoring touch from the wings.

Yanick Lehoux. What a release. Better than Jeff Tambellin's even!
Oh, don't forget the name: Mike Pudlick. Next Rob Blake.

I thought that was Paul Baier? Al Murray had us fooled! Ah well, there is still hopes for Sean Blanchard and Peter Hogan to pan out. But who I'm really excited about is Josh Green, he's the real deal!

Paul Baier? Joe Piskula is way better and already doing interviews
rinkside at Staples, between periods of the King game. 1980's Hockey Hair too.

Josh Green definitely will be second line stud, but Scott Barney was recently seen, rehabbing his 3 year back injury, at a pickup game in Ontario...a kings exec son saw him at this pickup game and said:
"Scott Barney is the best hockey player I have ever seen"
(true story - but forget whose son it was that said that)

You are all wrong. Igor Liba is the real deal. Check it and see. Kids gonna be the next Kurri.

By the way, Jon Sim and Jared Smithson are both still playing in the NHL (or were last year I think).

So is Steckel and those along are more then scary enough.

Must have been Al Murray's son. That story is hilarious.

I still have high hopes that Peter Ahola and Jan Nemecek will be dominating the blue line. Shocked they didn't bring in Rick Knickle to compete for a shot at backup.

Pudlick. I would change my last name. I remember him.

But about Yanick Lewho? YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!

That guy has proven to be a prolific pro hockey scoring machine. He has played so many pro games for so many pro teams in several countries. Lehoux is the bomb.

Besides he has played in 10 NHL games scoring 2g and 2a giving him a 40% scoring rate which works out to 32 points per season. Guys got tons of promise.....

He would be cheap and recently was seen lighting the lamp in one of the pro leagues in the world, the DEL.
