What else would you call signing the most sought after UFA(Shattenkirk)? Especially when you trade a top 6 home-grown center to fit him in. Kinda fits the MO if you have to ask me lol

I don't think leaving defensemen in hartford is any way to develop them.

It's not a very good team and you can't sprout from infertile soil.

Kampfer is a career AHLer that's over his head in the NHL. He's just holding on in every sense.

ADA and Pionk at worse can equal Kampfer except they're not going to get the chance and freedom that Kampfer gets.

A comment on Colton Orr--he looks like he's going to bust that suit jacket apart at the seams.

Henrik with a great great night. He's been excellent for a while now. Every time Jimmy Howard plays against us though it is a f***ing nightmare. Kreider, Buch, Skjei and Zucc coming up big in the clutch.

Not really. That "the rangers try to buy championships" thing is so old and ridiculous especially when everybody has the same salary cap to deal with. That Stepan trade was more for the future than this year.
