McNabb certainly isn't ready yet and nobody internally has stepped up to fill that role.

They really do miss Voynov too.
 
Not even gonna worry! Looooong season ahead! Things usually work it's way out. Just make the playoffs!

Not at you in particular but I'm gonna go ahead and say "I told you so" right now. Mitchell was a huge piece. Not that he could save us from this Hiroshima, but just his presence in general and ability to play up and down the lineup in all situations. He might go down as one of the most underrated shutdown defensemen of all time.

They ended the first 1:52 early and will tack it onto the 2nd. That's how bad it is. :laugh:
 
I really do think we needed one good ****ing spanking. We've been playing like crap and getting by, and the last couple of close-ish games aren't lessons learned. This absolute blowout could be the best thing. I get the feeling this is one of those games where I hope they run the score the hell up

I remember posting a fair bit about how I expected a resigning of Mitchell, followed by Greene being cut loose simply because of the minutes Mitchell could currently eat that Greene can't nor ever will.
