We are a top team in the league because we're not actively tanking, we haven't suffered long-term injuries, and Carey Price plays for us. It's a 30 team league, we're a top10 team... we're 66th percentile.

Until this weekend Ottawa was on pace to lap us, don't forget.

Anyway I don't want to whine too much, but it's clear that Price is on another level and brings this team to another level.

Every superstar on ever successful team in any major sport does that, no matter the position, that is normal.

Ben Scrivens was 5-8-0 and Mike Condon was 21-25-6 last season.

8-6-3 this year isn't that good either, it's ~8th place, maybe not even. For a full-cap team "in its window" that's not great.

There's Price fanboys like myself who love to give Price the credit he deserves any chance we can. But don't overdue it man. It's just as bad as the people who crawl out of holes every chance they can to take a jab at him.
