about the top line (hope they are all 100% because they don't need to risk it really. they appeared to be though). just thinking out loud and there's probably not at all a simple explanation or solution. teams have had time now to assess the Canes and probably have come to the conclusion that one of the ways to beat them is to stop Semin, Staal and Tlusty. they have likely put alot of time and effort into it and their game plans. I mentioned a couple of things earlier but overall, the Wings seemed to really do a good job shutting those guys down. they're a good team and Babcock a good coach. all of the teams will be focusing on this so Muller and that line will have to adjust and come up with ways around it. I'm sure they'll be alright and it was just one game, the first, and I guess they have faced these challenges before. the rest of the guys and secondary scoring are crucial because again, this cannot be a one line team and hope to be successful. as an aside here, the Canes did a pretty good job on Dats.
if they all continue to play like they did and work on and tweak a few things here and there they should be fine. and who knows if JR will be making anymore moves in the future. sometimes it's largely a game of luck and bounces. a post instead of 1/2 an inch and a batted puck out of the air to clear the crease with 16 seconds left, etc., etc.. still just really disappointed how that game ended up when it could have very well been a win...............it was a heart-breaker indeed after it looked to be going so well. oh well bring on the winless Flyers.
I don't believe in things like they'll probably lose because they have had trouble with the Flyers historically and such. reading their board, the consensus seems to be that the Canes win. and it's interesting about Lavi and what's going on in Philly. idk if it's true or not but apparently his job is on the line. anyhow looking forward to two points.
